Actors Journal – John Cullum
Actor and musical performer John Cullum has been nominated for six Tony awards and has won twice—Best Actor (Musical) for his performances in “Shenandoah” and “On the Twentieth Century.” Born in Knoxville, Tennessee in 1930, he is a veteran of Broadway but has also appeared in numerous films and television series, including The Doctors, The Defenders, Buck James, Northern Exposure, To Have & To Hold, ER, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Thanksgiving, Madam Secretary, and, most recently, The Middle. With his distinctive face and voice, audiences will instantly recognize this old pro.
