Robert Wuhl is an American actor, comedian and writer best known as the creator and star of the television comedy series Arliss, and for his portrayal of newspaper reporter Alexander Knox in Tim Burton’s Batman and Larry in Bull Durham. Wuhl began his career with a starring role in The Hollywood Knights, followed by parts in Flashdance, Good Morning, Vietnam, Blaze and Missing Pieces. He won two Emmy Awards for co-writing the Academy Awards in 1990 and 1991 with Billy Crystal.
