Home / Actors Journal – Tony Todd

Tony Todd is one of the busiest actors in Hollywood, with over 230 credits to his name. He is best known for his starring role in the horror hit Candyman, but he has also appeared in such major films as The Rock, The Crow, Lean on Me, Bird, Night of the Living Dead, Final Destination, and Oliver Stone’s Platoon. He studied at the Eugene O’Neill National Theatre Institute, the Hartman Conservatory, and the Trinity Square Repertory Theatre Conservatory, and his stage credits include “Twelve Angry Men,” “Othello,” and “Playboy of the Western Indies.” Because of his distinctive voice, he has been the narrator on numerous film and television trailers.
