Stage Directions Readers 2024

MANDY IRONS GARDNER
Stage Directions Reader – All That Remains
Mandy was last seen onstage in Durango as Alice Murphy in Merely Players’ production of Bright Star. At the 2021 PlayFest, she was especially honored to bring Elle to life in Lindsey Kirchoff’s Golden Gate. In 2022, she was the stage directions reader for Richard Dresser’s Our Shrinking, Shrinking World. Mandy has been trying to take 2024 “off” as it’s her wonderful, brilliant, and beautiful daughter’s senior year at Durango High School then she’s off to Colorado State University in the Fall. Dear daughter gave her blessing for Mandy to participate in PlayFest because it makes her happy, plus she gets to work with Misters Dresser and Cacaci again (and they are awesome).

CINDY LAUDADIO-HILL
Stage Directions Reader – Circle Forward
Cindy is (in no particular order) an actor, teacher, comedian, improviser, director, producer, writer, mother, wife, sister, aunt, daughter, and friend. She had a role in last year’s PlayFest reading of Dr. Arthur Goldman’s Birthday Party. She has been seen most recently in the Merely Players production of Small Mouth Sounds and Men on Boats. You can also see her perform and teach regularly with Lower Left Improv at the Durango Arts Center and the Lower Left Studio. She was the co-founder and producer of the Denver Improv Festival and the award-winning SCRIPTprov.™ Her first theatrical experience was as the letter S in Thanksgiving at PS 163 in Queens, NY – it was an inspired performance; many said it was what held Thank and Giving together.

DOMINIQUA QUESADA
Stage Directions Reader – Hop Tha A
Dominiqua is proud to be part of this year’s PlayFest. She currently attends Fort Lewis College where she studies theater design and technology. Last spring, she was an assistant stage manager for FLC’s production of Romeo and Juliet. Dominiqua is excited to return to Durango’s theatre community after completing the Disney College Program in Orlando.

LILIA REYNOLDS
Stage Directions Reader – Mrs. Einstein
Lilia joins PlayFest for a second year, taking on the roles of both reader and assistant stage manager. She is a musical theatre major, entering her second year at Fort Lewis College. You may have recently seen her embrace the complex roles of Sonya in Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 and the dynamic #14 in The Wolves, productions of the Fort Lewis College Theatre Department.
