Jill Gold

Our Shrinking, Shrinking World

Jill is excited to return for her second PlayFest in beautiful Durango. A Los Angeles-based stage manager, Jill has done numerous productions at the Pasadena Playhouse, Reprise Theatre Company, McCoy Rigby Entertainment, Sacramento Music Circus, and the Geffen Playhouse. She toured the U.S. with “Les Misérables,” “The Unsinkable Molly Brown,” “City of Angels,” “Wicked,” and “Not the Messiah,” and visited Germany and Austria with “Sisterella.” She teaches stage management at UCLA and Occidental College, and co-authored Stage Management with Lawrence Stern (12th edition out now).

Tyler Gleason

Monster SLAYer

Tyler is a theatre education major at Fort Lewis College. This is his fourth year at PlayFest. In 2021, he was the assistant stage manager for Lia Romeo’s “Ghost Story” and “Sitting & Talking,” and stage manager for Lee Blessing’s “The Family Line.” His most recent theatrical credits include being a director for the “Native American Stories” and a voice actor for “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time” at FLC. He recently joined the board of Two Worlds Theatre in Albuquerque, NM. When not acting or directing, Tyler can be found performing in drag under the name Vivica Validation.

Madysen Hunter

The Agency

Mady graduated from Fort Lewis College with a bachelor’s degree in technical theatre. She has stage-managed shows such as “Gypsy,” “Sweeney Todd,” and “Heathers.” She is excited to work at a new play festival and to meet lots of new people along the way.

Selena Trujillo

Just Another Day

Selena is native of Durango and a familiar face in local theatrical productions. She’s an active company member of Merely Players and was the production and backstage manager for the popular Salt Fire Circus and Bare Bones Burlesque shows. She has been the stage manager for local productions including “Cabaret,” “Rent, ” “Fool For Love, ” “Next To Normal, ” and the collaboration with Merely Players in “God of Carnage” at the Durango Arts Center, the 2014 “Melodrama,” 2014-1019 “Rocky Horror Show,” “Drag-Rango” at the Henry Strater Theatre, and the assistant stage manager for “Mary Poppins, ” “Secret Garden, ” “Man Of La Mancha” and “Mama Mia” with Merely Players.
